SASKATOON, Saskatchewan, Canada, January 8, 2026 – MustGrow Biologics Corp. (TSXV: MGRO; OTC: MGROF; FRA: 0C0) (the “Company” or “MustGrow“), is pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement of up to 4,000,000 units of the Company (each, a “Unit“) at a price of $0.50 per Unit for gross proceeds of up to $2,000,000 (the “LIFE Offering“).
Each Unit will consist of (i) one common share of the Company (a “Share“); and (ii) one common share purchase warrant (a “Warrant“). Each whole Warrant will be exercisable for a period of 60 months from the Closing Date (defined below) and will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one additional Share (a “Warrant Share“) at an exercise price of $0.70 per Warrant Share.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds raised from the LIFE Offering for inventory production for its mustard-derived organic biofertility product TerraSanteTM, inventory for agricultural products to sell via its Canadian distribution platform NexusBioAg, and working capital and general corporate purposes.
Subject to the rules and policies of the TSX Venture Exchange (the “TSXV“), the securities issuable from the sale of Units to Canadian resident subscribers will not be subject to a hold period under applicable Canadian securities laws. It is anticipated that insiders of the Company may participate in the LIFE Offering, and any Units issued to insiders will be subject to a four month hold period pursuant to applicable policies of the TSXV. The issuance of Units to any insiders will be considered a “related party transaction” within the meaning of Multilateral Instrument 61-101 – Protection of Minority Security Holders in Special Transactions (“MI 61-101“). Positive Guidance Received From CDE. Gyre announced that its majority-owned subsidiary in China, Gyre Pharmaceuticals Ltd, has completed pre-NDA discussions with the Chinese Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE). The CDE indicated that the Phase 3 data meets the requirements for approval in chronic hepatitis B-associated liver fibrosis, as expected. An NDA submission is planned for 1H26, meeting our expected milestones for the product and the company.
Approval Would Allow Full Commercialization. Under the CDE regulations, the Phase 3 supports Conditional Approval for Hydronidone, allowing full commercialization. (Gyre or the Company) (Nasdaq: GYRE), an innovative, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to advancing fibrosis-first therapies across organ systems affected by chronic disease, today announced that its majority-owned subsidiary in China, Gyre Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (Gyre Pharmaceuticals), completed a Pre–New Drug Application (Pre-NDA) communication meeting with the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) regarding Hydronidone, the Company’s first-in-class anti-fibrotic therapy.
During the meeting, Gyre Pharmaceuticals and the CDE reached consensus that existing Phase 3 clinical data for Hydronidone, based on histologic improvement in liver fibrosis as measured by the Ishak fibrosis score, are generally supportive of submission of a conditional approval NDA for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB)-associated liver fibrosis, including early (compensated) cirrhosis. The CDE further indicated that Hydronidone meets the criteria for inclusion in China’s Priority Review and Approval Program for Innovative Drugs, subject to formal filing, acceptance and regulatory review.
The NMPA previously granted Hydronidone Breakthrough Therapy Designation in March 2021, recognizing its potential to address a serious condition with significant unmet medical need. This designation supports eligibility for priority review, which is intended to facilitate an accelerated regulatory review process for innovative therapies.
As previously disclosed on May 22, 2025, Gyre reported topline results from its Phase 3 trial in CHB-associated liver fibrosis demonstrating that Hydronidone met its primary endpoint, with 52.85% of treated patients achieving ≥1-stage fibrosis regression at Week 52, compared with 29.84% in the placebo group (p=0.0002), based on centralized, blinded Ishak histologic assessment. The trial also achieved a key secondary endpoint evaluating improvement in liver inflammation without fibrosis progression and demonstrated a favorable safety profile consistent with prior clinical experience.
As part of the agreed regulatory pathway, the Company plans to conduct an additional confirmatory clinical trial (referred to as a Phase 3c trial in China) designed to evaluate liver-related clinical outcomes to support potential conversion from conditional approval to regular approval.
The Company currently expects to submit an NDA for conditional approval of Hydronidone in the first half of 2026, subject to final data readiness and applicable regulatory procedures.

Hydronidone is a novel, orally administered anti-fibrotic agent designed to target key liver fibrosis pathways. It attenuates hepatic stellate cell activation and fibrogenesis, at least in part, by suppressing TGF-β1-induced signal transduction, including reduced p38γ phosphorylation and upregulated Smad7 expression. This upregulation of Smad7 subsequently leads to downregulation of TGF-βRI and inhibition of Smad2/3 activation, thereby disrupting canonical TGF-β/Smad signaling and reducing fibrotic gene expression in HSCs.

INDICATION TONMYA is indicated for the treatment of fibromyalgia in adults.
CONTRAINDICATIONS TONMYA is contraindicated: In patients with hypersensitivity to cyclobenzaprine or any inactive ingredient in TONMYA. Hypersensitivity reactions may manifest as an anaphylactic reaction, urticaria, facial and/or tongue swelling, or pruritus. Discontinue TONMYA if a hypersensitivity reaction is suspected. With concomitant use of monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors or within 14 days after discontinuation of an MAO inhibitor. Hyperpyretic crisis seizures and deaths have occurred in patients who received cyclobenzaprine (or structurally similar tricyclic antidepressants) concomitantly with MAO inhibitors drugs.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS Embryofetal toxicity: Based on animal data, TONMYA may cause neural tube defects when used two weeks prior to conception and during the first trimester of pregnancy. Advise females of reproductive potential of the potential risk and to use effective contraception during treatment and for two weeks after the final dose. Perform a pregnancy test prior to initiation of treatment with TONMYA to exclude use of TONMYA during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Serotonin syndrome: Concomitant use of TONMYA with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), tricyclic antidepressants, tramadol, bupropion, meperidine, verapamil, or MAO inhibitors increases the risk of serotonin syndrome, a potentially life-threatening condition. Serotonin syndrome symptoms may include mental status changes, autonomic instability, neuromuscular abnormalities, and/or gastrointestinal symptoms. Treatment with TONMYA and any concomitant serotonergic agent should be discontinued immediately if serotonin syndrome symptoms occur and supportive symptomatic treatment should be initiated. If concomitant treatment with TONMYA and other serotonergic drugs is clinically warranted, careful observation is advised, particularly during treatment initiation or dosage increases.
Tricyclic antidepressant-like adverse reactions: Cyclobenzaprine is structurally related to TCAs. TCAs have been reported to produce arrhythmias, sinus tachycardia, prolongation of the conduction time leading to myocardial infarction and stroke. If clinically significant central nervous system (CNS) symptoms develop, consider discontinuation of TONMYA. Caution should be used when TCAs are given to patients with a history of seizure disorder, because TCAs may lower the seizure threshold. Patients with a history of seizures should be monitored during TCA use to identify recurrence of seizures or an increase in the frequency of seizures.
Atropine-like effects: Use with caution in patients with a history of urinary retention, angle-closure glaucoma, increased intraocular pressure, and in patients taking anticholinergic drugs.
CNS depression and risk of operating a motor vehicle or hazardous machinery: TONMYA monotherapy may cause CNS depression. Concomitant use of TONMYA with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants may increase the risk of CNS depression. Advise patients not to operate a motor vehicle or dangerous machinery until they are reasonably certain that TONMYA therapy will not adversely affect their ability to engage in such activities. Oral mucosal adverse reactions: In clinical studies with TONMYA, oral mucosal adverse reactions occurred more frequently in patients treated with TONMYA compared to placebo. Advise patients to moisten the mouth with sips of water before administration of TONMYA to reduce the risk of oral sensory changes (hypoesthesia). Consider discontinuation of TONMYA if severe reactions occur.
ADVERSE REACTIONS The most common adverse reactions (incidence ≥2% and at a higher incidence in TONMYA-treated patients compared to placebo-treated patients) were oral hypoesthesia, oral discomfort, abnormal product taste, somnolence, oral paresthesia, oral pain, fatigue, dry mouth, and aphthous ulcer.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
MAO inhibitors: Life-threatening interactions may occur.
Other serotonergic drugs: Serotonin syndrome has been reported.
CNS depressants: CNS depressant effects of alcohol, barbiturates, and other CNS depressants may be enhanced.
Tramadol: Seizure risk may be enhanced.
Guanethidine or other similar acting drugs: The antihypertensive action of these drugs may be blocked.
USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS Pregnancy: Based on animal data, TONMYA may cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman. The limited amount of available observational data on oral cyclobenzaprine use in pregnancy is of insufficient quality to inform a TONMYA-associated risk of major birth defects, miscarriage, or adverse maternal or fetal outcomes. Advise pregnant women about the potential risk to the fetus with maternal exposure to TONMYA and to avoid use of TONMYA two weeks prior to conception and through the first trimester of pregnancy. Lactation: A small number of published cases report the transfer of cyclobenzaprine into human milk in low amounts, but these data cannot be confirmed. There are no data on the effects of cyclobenzaprine on a breastfed infant, or the effects on milk production. The developmental and health benefits of breastfeeding should be considered along with the mother’s clinical need for TONMYA and any potential adverse effects on the breastfed child from TONMYA or from the underlying maternal condition.
Pediatric use: The safety and effectiveness of TONMYA have not been established.
Geriatric patients: Of the total number of TONMYA-treated patients in the clinical trials in adult patients with fibromyalgia, none were 65 years of age and older. Clinical trials of TONMYA did not include sufficient numbers of patients 65 years of age and older to determine whether they respond differently from younger adult patients.
Hepatic impairment: The recommended dosage of TONMYA in patients with mild hepatic impairment (HI) (Child Pugh A) is 2.8 mg once daily at bedtime, lower than the recommended dosage in patients with normal hepatic function. The use of TONMYA is not recommended in patients with moderate HI (Child Pugh B) or severe HI (Child Pugh C). Cyclobenzaprine exposure (AUC) was increased in patients with mild HI and moderate HI compared to subjects with normal hepatic function, which may increase the risk of TONMYA-associated adverse reactions.

(Nasdaq: TNXP) (“Tonix” or the “Company”), a fully-integrated commercial stage biotechnology company, today announced program updates on TNX-4800 (formerly known as mAb 2217LS)1,2, which is a long-acting human monoclonal antibody (mAb) that targets the outer surface protein A (OspA) of Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease in humans. TNX-4800 is being developed for annual seasonal use, as one subcutaneous administration in the spring to protect against Lyme disease through fall, or the entire tick season in the U.S. There are no currently marketed U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved vaccines or prophylactics to protect against Lyme disease.

About TNX-4800 TNX-4800 (formerly known as mAb 2217LS) is a fully human monoclonal antibody with an engineered extended half-life that targets the outer-surface protein A (OspA) on Lyme-causing Borrelia bacteria. By binding OspA when TNX-4800 containing blood is ingested by the tick, TNX-4800 kills and blocks the maturation of Borrelia burgdorferi in the mid-gut of infected deer ticks. Published work in non-human primates showed that TNX-4800 was 95% effective in preventing infection after 6 days of exposure to ticks infected with Borrelia burgdorferi.1 TNX-4800 was derived from mAb 2217 by amino acid substitutions in its crystallizable fragment (Fc) domain which served to prolong the serum half-life. A single administration in the Spring is designed to provide immunity within two days and maintain protective antibody titers for the entire tick season, providing pre-exposure prophylaxis against Lyme disease without relying on the recipient’s immune system to generate antibodies. By delivering a well-characterized antibody directly, TNX-4800 has been shown to block transmission of the major Borrelia genospecies from ticks to animals. TNX-4800 also sidesteps the multidose schedules required for OspA vaccines in development6 and FDA-approved vaccines that have been withdrawn from the market due to concerns about increased risk of autoimmunity.7 Tonix intends to advance TNX-4800 through additional clinical trials with the goal of submitting a Biologics Licensing Application (BLA) to the FDA.
About TNX-4800 Pharmacokinetics TNX-4800 was studied in a randomized, double-blind, sequential dose-escalation study (NCT04863287) that evaluated safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity of TNX-4800 in healthy adults. Forty-four subjects were randomized and 41 completed the study. Subjects received a single subcutaneous (SC) administration of placebo or TNX-4800 at 0.5, 1.5, 5, or 10 mg/kg. Safety was assessed via clinical and lab evaluations. Drug exposure increased by approximately 25-times for a 20-times increase in dose. Serum TNX-4800 was measurable at the earliest sampling time of 24 hours, indicating rapid systemic absorption. TNX-4800 concentrations remained quantifiable for >200 days in 80% of volunteers at the lowest dose and for up to 350 days in the majority of volunteers at higher doses (i.e., ≥ 1.5 mg/kg). Mean half-life ranged from 62–69 days across groups. Serum concentrations remained quantifiable for up to 12 months in most subjects. Mean exposure for the 10 mg/kg cohort was less than 20% of the highest exposures in a rat toxicology study. Anti-drug antibodies (ADA) were detected in <10% of treated subjects, with no impact on PK. Most adverse events were mild or moderate. TNX-4800 was determined to be generally safe and well tolerated.
About Lyme Disease In the United States, Lyme disease is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi. Lyme disease remains the most common vector-borne infection in the United States and its incidence is climbing each year.8 It occurs most commonly in the Northeast, mid-Atlantic, and upper-Midwest regions. Lyme disease bacteria are transmitted through the bite of infected Ixodes ticks. Typical symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash called erythema migrans. If left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system. Laboratory testing is helpful if used correctly and performed with FDA-cleared tests. Although many cases of Lyme disease can be treated successfully with antibiotics, diagnosis and treatment are often delayed or missed, and even with treatment, up to 20% of cases may progress to a Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS) called “Chronic Lyme” or “Long Lyme”. Chronic Lyme is considered an Infection Associated Chronic Illness (IACI), and is a chronic, debilitating disease state characterized by joint and muscle pain, fatigue and other symptoms.9
About Borrelia Burgdorferi In infected deer ticks, Borrelia’s OspA lipoprotein binds to tick-gut receptor TROSPA and helps it adhere to the midgut lining. During a tick bite blood meal, Borrelia downregulates OspA, upregulates OspC, and activates motility genes. Borrelia undergoes a metamorphic-like transformation, becoming highly flagellated and mobile, which facilitates migration to the tick salivary glands and invasion of human host tissues. During a tick bite of an animal pre-treated with TNX-4800, the tick ingests host blood containing TNX-4800, which kills and blocks the metamorphic-like transformation of Borrelia in the tick’s midgut preventing transmission of the bacteria. Lyme-causing Borrelia-exposed or -infected individuals, rarely make antibodies against OspA which allows for people to be reinfected despite having immunity to OspC. Consequently, we expect that protection against Borrelia would require annual prophylaxis with TNX-4800.

INDICATION TONMYA is indicated for the treatment of fibromyalgia in adults.
CONTRAINDICATIONS TONMYA is contraindicated: In patients with hypersensitivity to cyclobenzaprine or any inactive ingredient in TONMYA. Hypersensitivity reactions may manifest as an anaphylactic reaction, urticaria, facial and/or tongue swelling, or pruritus. Discontinue TONMYA if a hypersensitivity reaction is suspected. With concomitant use of monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors or within 14 days after discontinuation of an MAO inhibitor. Hyperpyretic crisis seizures and deaths have occurred in patients who received cyclobenzaprine (or structurally similar tricyclic antidepressants) concomitantly with MAO inhibitors drugs.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS Embryofetal toxicity: Based on animal data, TONMYA may cause neural tube defects when used two weeks prior to conception and during the first trimester of pregnancy. Advise females of reproductive potential of the potential risk and to use effective contraception during treatment and for two weeks after the final dose. Perform a pregnancy test prior to initiation of treatment with TONMYA to exclude use of TONMYA during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Serotonin syndrome: Concomitant use of TONMYA with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), tricyclic antidepressants, tramadol, bupropion, meperidine, verapamil, or MAO inhibitors increases the risk of serotonin syndrome, a potentially life-threatening condition. Serotonin syndrome symptoms may include mental status changes, autonomic instability, neuromuscular abnormalities, and/or gastrointestinal symptoms. Treatment with TONMYA and any concomitant serotonergic agent should be discontinued immediately if serotonin syndrome symptoms occur and supportive symptomatic treatment should be initiated. If concomitant treatment with TONMYA and other serotonergic drugs is clinically warranted, careful observation is advised, particularly during treatment initiation or dosage increases. Tricyclic antidepressant-like adverse reactions: Cyclobenzaprine is structurally related to TCAs. TCAs have been reported to produce arrhythmias, sinus tachycardia, prolongation of the conduction time leading to myocardial infarction and stroke. If clinically significant central nervous system (CNS) symptoms develop, consider discontinuation of TONMYA. Caution should be used when TCAs are given to patients with a history of seizure disorder, because TCAs may lower the seizure threshold. Patients with a history of seizures should be monitored during TCA use to identify recurrence of seizures or an increase in the frequency of seizures.
Atropine-like effects: Use with caution in patients with a history of urinary retention, angle-closure glaucoma, increased intraocular pressure, and in patients taking anticholinergic drugs.
CNS depression and risk of operating a motor vehicle or hazardous machinery: TONMYA monotherapy may cause CNS depression. Concomitant use of TONMYA with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants may increase the risk of CNS depression. Advise patients not to operate a motor vehicle or dangerous machinery until they are reasonably certain that TONMYA therapy will not adversely affect their ability to engage in such activities. Oral mucosal adverse reactions: In clinical studies with TONMYA, oral mucosal adverse reactions occurred more frequently in patients treated with TONMYA compared to placebo. Advise patients to moisten the mouth with sips of water before administration of TONMYA to reduce the risk of oral sensory changes (hypoesthesia). Consider discontinuation of TONMYA if severe reactions occur.
ADVERSE REACTIONS The most common adverse reactions (incidence ≥2% and at a higher incidence in TONMYA-treated patients compared to placebo-treated patients) were oral hypoesthesia, oral discomfort, abnormal product taste, somnolence, oral paresthesia, oral pain, fatigue, dry mouth, and aphthous ulcer.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
MAO inhibitors: Life-threatening interactions may occur.
Other serotonergic drugs: Serotonin syndrome has been reported.
CNS depressants: CNS depressant effects of alcohol, barbiturates, and other CNS depressants may be enhanced.
Tramadol: Seizure risk may be enhanced. Guanethidine or other similar acting drugs: The antihypertensive action of these drugs may be blocked.
USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS Pregnancy: Based on animal data, TONMYA may cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman. The limited amount of available observational data on oral cyclobenzaprine use in pregnancy is of insufficient quality to inform a TONMYA-associated risk of major birth defects, miscarriage, or adverse maternal or fetal outcomes. Advise pregnant women about the potential risk to the fetus with maternal exposure to TONMYA and to avoid use of TONMYA two weeks prior to conception and through the first trimester of pregnancy. Report pregnancies to the Tonix Medicines, Inc., adverse-event reporting line at 1-888-869-7633 (1-888-TNXPMED).
Lactation: A small number of published cases report the transfer of cyclobenzaprine into human milk in low amounts, but these data cannot be confirmed. There are no data on the effects of cyclobenzaprine on a breastfed infant, or the effects on milk production. The developmental and health benefits of breastfeeding should be considered along with the mother’s clinical need for TONMYA and any potential adverse effects on the breastfed child from TONMYA or from the underlying maternal condition.
Pediatric use: The safety and effectiveness of TONMYA have not been established. Geriatric patients: Of the total number of TONMYA-treated patients in the clinical trials in adult patients with fibromyalgia, none were 65 years of age and older. Clinical trials of TONMYA did not include sufficient numbers of patients 65 years of age and older to determine whether they respond differently from younger adult patients.
Hepatic impairment: The recommended dosage of TONMYA in patients with mild hepatic impairment (HI) (Child Pugh A) is 2.8 mg once daily at bedtime, lower than the recommended dosage in patients with normal hepatic function. The use of TONMYA is not recommended in patients with moderate HI (Child Pugh B) or severe HI (Child Pugh C). Cyclobenzaprine exposure (AUC) was increased in patients with mild HI and moderate HI compared to subjects with normal hepatic function, which may increase the risk of TONMYA-associated adverse reactions.

New PDUFA date expected in 1H 2026 within 30 days of NDA resubmission
LOS ALTOS, Calif., Dec. 29, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Unicycive Therapeutics, Inc. (“Unicycive” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: UNCY), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing therapies for patients with kidney disease, today announced that it has resubmitted its 505(b)(2) New Drug Application (NDA) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for oxylanthanum carbonate (OLC), the Company’s investigational oral phosphate binder for the treatment of hyperphosphatemia in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis.
“Our original third-party manufacturing vendor has made significant progress toward regaining FDA compliance, allowing us to resubmit the OLC NDA as planned,” said Shalabh Gupta, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Unicycive. “With a cash runway into 2027, we are well-positioned to complete the regulatory approval process for OLC so we can prepare to bring this important treatment option to dialysis patients with hyperphosphatemia as soon as possible.”
The NDA for OLC was resubmitted based on continued progress by the original third-party manufacturing vendor in resolving FDA-cited deficiencies and demonstrating inspection readiness. Unicycive previously discussed these milestones during a Type A meeting with the FDA in September 2025, which was held to obtain feedback and alignment on resolving the single deficiency identified in the Company’s Complete Response Letter (CRL) related to the compliance status of the vendor. No additional issues were raised by the FDA. Following receipt of the CRL in June 2025, European Union regulatory authorities inspected the original third-party manufacturing vendor and identified no deficiencies.
The Prescription Drug User Fee Act target guidelines for NDA resubmissions include acknowledgment of acceptance for review within 30 days of submission, and completion of submission review within 6 months.

(Nasdaq: GLSI) (the “Company”), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on its Phase III clinical trial, FLAMINGO-01, which is evaluating Fast Track designated GLSI-100, an immunotherapy to prevent breast cancer recurrences, today announced that its Board of Directors has extended the lock-up of the shares owned by the Company’s directors, officers, and existing pre-IPO investors to September 30, 2026 which is approximately 72 months from the date of the Company’s IPO. During this period, current officers, directors and certain shareholders will not be able to sell their shares of the Company’s common stock unless otherwise modified by the Board of Directors. After September 30, 2026, the quantity of these locked-up shares that can be sold daily and over various periods of time will be restricted under a leak-out plan unless otherwise modified by the Board of Directors.
CEO Snehal Patel commented, “This unprecedented 6 years lock-up is controlled by the Board and is designed to align the locked-up shareholders with the Company’s long term investors and to support the FLAMINGO-01 Phase III trial. The Board could choose to end the 100% lock-up at any time and could then implement a pre-determined leak-out plan and/or a 10b5-1 trading plan that allows for the organized independent selling of some of the locked-up shares by a third party over a specified period of time. One example of how the Board could proceed in the future might be to continue to keep 95% or 99% or a higher or lower percentage of the locked-up shares locked up for longer periods of time after September 30, 2026, while allowing 5% or 1% or a lower or higher percentage of the locked-up shares to be sold within a 10b5-1 trading plan over a specified period of time. Any interim analyses or strategic transactions, such as an acquisition or partnership, which could occur at any time, could also affect the Board’s lock-up and leak-out plans.”
About FLAMINGO-01 Open Label Phase III Data
More than 1,000 patients have been screened with a current screen rate of approximately 600 patients per year. The 250 patient non-HLA-A*02 arm is now fully enrolled, where all patients received GLSI-100, which is 5 times more treated patients and recurrence rate data than the approximately 50 patients treated in the Phase IIb trial. The Primary Immunization Series (PIS), which includes the first 6 GLSI-100 injections over the first 6 months and is required to reach peak protection, is followed by 5 booster injections given every 6 months to prolong the immune response, thereby providing longer-term protection.
In the non-HLA-A*02 arm, a preliminary analysis of recurrence rates after the PIS is completed shows an approximately 80% reduction in recurrence rate.
This observation is trending similarly to the Phase IIb trial results and hazard ratio where HLA-A*02 patients were treated and where breast cancer recurrences were reduced up to 80% compared to a 20-50% reduction in recurrence rate by other approved products.
The immune response at baseline prior to any GLSI-100 treatment, the increasing immune response during the PIS, and the safety profile of non-HLA-A*02 patients is trending similarly to the HLA-A*02 arms of FLAMINGO-01 and to the Phase IIb study.
Analysis of the open label data from FLAMINGO-01 has been conducted in a manner that maintains the study blind. The open label recurrence rate, immune response, and safety data is based on the patients enrolled to date in FLAMINGO-01 and the data provided by the clinical sites so far, which is not completed or fully reviewed, and is thus preliminary. While comparing any preliminary FLAMINGO-01 data to the Phase IIb clinical trial data may be possible, these preliminary results are not a prediction of future results, and the results at the end of the study may differ.
About GLSI-100 Phase IIb Study
In the prospective, randomized, single-blinded, placebo-controlled, multi-center (16 sites led by MD Anderson Cancer Center) Phase IIb clinical trial of HLA-A*02 breast cancer patients, 46 HER2/neu 3+ over-expressor patients were treated with GLSI-100, and 50 placebo patients were treated with GM-CSF alone. After 5 years of follow-up, there was an 80% or greater reduction in cancer recurrences in the HER2/neu 3+ patients who were treated with GLSI-100, followed, and remained disease free over the first 6 months, which we believe is the time required to reach peak immunity and thus maximum efficacy and protection. The Phase IIb results can be summarized as follows:
80% or greater reduction in metastatic breast cancer recurrence rate over 5 years of follow-up with a peak immune response at 6 months and well-tolerated safety profile.
The PIS elicited a potent immune response as measured by local skin tests and immunological assays.
About FLAMINGO-01 and GLSI-100
FLAMINGO-01 (NCT05232916) is a Phase III clinical trial designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Fast Track designated GLSI-100 (GP2 + GM-CSF) in HER2 positive breast cancer patients who had residual disease or high-risk pathologic complete response at surgery and who have completed both neoadjuvant and postoperative adjuvant trastuzumab based treatment. The trial is led by Baylor College of Medicine and currently includes US and European clinical sites from university-based hospitals and academic and cooperative networks with plans to open up to 150 sites globally. In the double-blinded arms of the Phase III trial, approximately 500 HLA-A*02 patients are planned to be randomized to GLSI-100 or placebo, and up to 250 patients of other HLA types are planned to be treated with GLSI-100 in a third arm. The trial has been designed to detect a hazard ratio of 0.3 in invasive breast cancer-free survival, where 28 events will be required. An interim analysis for superiority and futility will be conducted when at least half of those events, 14, have occurred. This sample size provides 80% power if the annual rate of events in placebo-treated subjects is 2.4% or greater.

Smith, Ph.D. purchased common stock and warrants in the recent private placement offering which closed on December 22, 2025.
Three directors purchased a total of 179,737 shares and 179,737 warrants with an average purchase price of $1.224. Dr. Smith has invested in all of MAIA’s funding rounds since the Company’s inception in 2018, and Ms. Adelina Louie is a top investor in MAIA. Gross proceeds from the offering totaled approximately $1.51 million.

Ateganosine (THIO, 6-thio-dG or 6-thio-2’-deoxyguanosine) is a first-in-class investigational telomere-targeting agent currently in clinical development to evaluate its activity in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Sanofi has agreed to acquire Dynavax Technologies Corporation in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.2 billion, a move that significantly bolsters the French drugmaker’s position in the adult vaccines market. Under the terms of the deal, Dynavax shareholders will receive $15.50 per share in cash, representing a 39% premium to the company’s closing share price on December 23, 2025.
The acquisition brings Sanofi a marketed adult hepatitis B vaccine, HEPLISAV-B®, along with a differentiated shingles vaccine candidate currently in Phase 1/2 development. Together, the assets enhance Sanofi’s immunization portfolio at a time when adult vaccination is increasingly viewed as a major growth opportunity within global healthcare.
HEPLISAV-B is Dynavax’s flagship product and is already approved and marketed in the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.
