Research News and Market Data on CYDVF

Demonstration Plant Commissioning Targeted for H2 2026; Company’s Chlor-Alkali Process Uses Salt-Based Reagents with No Direct Exposure to Rising Global Sulfur and Sulfuric Acid Prices

April 23, 2026 – Vancouver, Canada – Century Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LCE) (OTCQX: CYDVF) (Frankfurt: C1Z) (“Century Lithium” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update on the relocation of its Lithium Extraction Facility (“Demonstration Plant”) to the Company’s site in Tonopah, Nevada, USA. Current market conditions also highlight the competitive advantage of the Company’s 100%-owned Angel Island lithium project (“Angel Island”) in Esmeralda County, Nevada and its integrated chlor-alkali process as global sulfur and sulfuric acid prices rise.

“During the last five years, Century Lithium developed an integrated process flowsheet that successfully produced battery-grade lithium carbonate from Angel Island claystone. The patent-pending process uses salt, rather than sulfur-derived reagents, which distinguishes Angel Island from spodumene and most sedimentary lithium projects globally,” said Bill Willoughby, President and CEO of Century Lithium. “Moving the Demonstration Plant to Tonopah lets us show the operating benefits of our chlor-alkali process at a moment when sulfur demand and related reagent costs are rising. Our process was designed for its compatibility with our Angel Island lithium deposit and regionally obtainable resources. As pressures on international supply chains increase, that advantage becomes increasingly meaningful for our shareholders and future customers.”

Demonstration Plant: Progress and Planned Work at Tonopah

The Demonstration Plant operated at the Company’s Amargosa Valley facility for five years, producing battery-grade lithium carbonate and validating the integrated chlor-alkali flowsheet for Angel Island. Relocation to Tonopah is proceeding as planned. Equipment relocation, construction of a new process building, and application for a Nevada Water Pollution Control Permit are all in progress, with commissioning targeted for the second half of 2026.

Upon completion, the Company plans to conduct structured metallurgical testing per the recommendations of the 2026 Feasibility Study (described below), including full test runs on claystone zones 1 and 2. Bench-scale testing reported in the Feasibility Study indicates the deeper claystone performs as well as, or better than, the bulk samples of surface material used in earlier runs. The Company also plans to evaluate improvements to leaching, direct lithium extraction (“DLE”), and lithium carbonate and hydroxide production.

The Demonstration Plant will also serve as a showcase of salt-based lithium extraction for government agencies, community stakeholders, and potential funding partners. The Company is pursuing federal critical-minerals funding opportunities, including evaluation of the potential recovery of additional critical elements from Angel Island leach solutions as identified in the Feasibility Study.

Century Lithium’s Chlor-Alkali Process: Salt as the Foundation

Angel Island is built around a patent-pending chlor-alkali process in which hydrochloric acid (“HCl”) and sodium hydroxide (“NaOH”) are generated on-site from sodium chloride (“NaCl”) and electricity. HCl leaches lithium from Angel Island claystone; NaOH provides pH control throughout leaching, filtration, and DLE. Both reagents are continuously regenerated as co-products of the electrolytic cells, closing the loop and eliminating reliance on external acid supply chains.

The process does not use sulfuric acid and produces no sulfate by-products. The primary inputs are NaCl and electricity which are stable, domestically available, and structurally uncorrelated to sulfur markets. As set out in the 2026 Feasibility Study, NaOH surplus to process requirements, which is expected to be significant, available for sale as an economic by-product.

Global Sulfur Market Conditions: Why the Process Design Matters Now

Global sulfur markets are experiencing an extraordinary dislocation with direct consequences for agriculture and basic industries including metals. China’s spot sulfur price of US$950/tonne represents a 283% increase from approximately US$248/t in January 2025.1 In the United States, Tampa contract sulfur prices have surged from US$69 per long ton at the start of 2024 to a projected US$475 to $520 per long ton under Q1 2026 contracts, an increase of approximately 600% in under two years.2 U.S. sulfuric acid prices have followed, rising from US$85 per tonne in early 2024 to US$146 per tonne by March 2026.3

2026 Feasibility Study

The 2026 Feasibility Study on Angel Island, prepared by Mineral Property Development, LLC (“MPDI”), Global Resource Engineering, Ltd. (“GRE”) and SRK Incorporated (“SRK”) in accordance with National  Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101), confirms that the chlor-alkali process’s structural insulation from these supply chain forces underpins strong project economics with an after-tax NPV of US$4.01 billion and average operating costs of US$4,389/t of lithium carbonate.

The complete NI 43-101 technical report has been filed on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca. Investors are encouraged to read the technical report in its entirety for all material assumptions and qualifying factors.

Release – Century Lithium Achieves High Recovery of Rare Earth and Critical Elements From Primary Leach Solutions

Research News and Market Data on CYDVF

December 2, 2025 – Vancouver, Canada – Century Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LCE) (OTCQX: CYDVF) (Frankfurt: C1Z) (“Century Lithium” or “the Company”) is pleased to report positive results from its ongoing test work  on the recovery of rare earth elements (“REEs”) from primary lithium leach solutions generated from its 100%-owned Angel Island lithium project in Nevada, USA. The initial testing indicates that high REE recoveries can be achieved without impacting lithium recovery in Century Lithium’s extraction process.

“The REE recovery results validate our belief that Century Lithium’s leach solutions offer meaningful secondary-value opportunities,” said Todd Fayram, Century Lithium’s Senior Vice President, Metallurgy. “Producing a secondary REE-rich product has the potential to strengthen Angel Island’s economics and align the Company with broader government and industry initiatives supporting secure North American critical-minerals supply chains.”

Century Lithium previously confirmed that the leach solutions produced from Angel Island claystone contain notable concentrations of REEs, including dysprosium, gadolinium, neodymium, and praseodymium, as well as higher concentrations of the critical metals scandium, lanthanum, and cerium. Cesium is also present.

Ion-exchange test work achieved greater than 97% recovery of the identified REEs and critical metals, excluding cesium, while maintaining complete selectivity against lithium. This selectivity is essential for downstream lithium recovery through the Company’s process flowsheet, which includes ultrafiltration, direct lithium extraction (“DLE”) and subsequent steps to produce high-purity lithium carbonate.

The Company’s metallurgical program at Angel Island continues to focus on the following:

  • Optimizing ion-exchange performance and selectivity
  • Advancing downstream processing flowsheets for REE concentration and refinement
  • Evaluating market pathways for a commercial REE by-product
  • Assessing the economic contribution of REEs to primary lithium production

These results represent a significant technical milestone, demonstrating that REE extraction and recovery can be implemented without affecting the Company’s core lithium recovery process.   Century Lithium believes these advancements position the Company to potentially supply both lithium and REEs to North American critical minerals markets, supporting supply-chain resilience and enhancing long-term project value for Angel Island.

Release – Century Lithium Produces Lithium Hydroxide at Demonstration Plant in Nevada

Research News and Market Data on CYDVF

October 20, 2025 – Vancouver, Canada – Century Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LCE) (OTCQX: CYDVF) (Frankfurt: C1Z) (“Century Lithium” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company’s Lithium Extraction Facility (“Demonstration Plant”) in Amargosa Valley, Nevada, USA, has produced for its first time lithium hydroxide from lithium carbonate derived from the Company’s 100%-owned Angel Island lithium project, located near Silver Peak, Nevada.

“The lithium hydroxide samples produced by our team represent another important milestone for the Company,” said Bill Willoughby, President and CEO of Century Lithium. “Up until this point, Century’s efforts have focused on making lithium carbonate as the end product for Angel Island. By producing high-purity lithium hydroxide, we show that Angel Island can supply another major lithium product for the domestic market.”

The lithium hydroxide samples were produced from lithium carbonate derived from Angel Island’s lithium claystone deposit and treated at the Demonstration Plant using Century Lithium’s patent-pending alkaline leach and Direct Lithium Extraction (“DLE”) process. The lithium hydroxide samples were produced on-site in a batch process using conventional liming conversion with calcium hydroxide to make high-purity, +99.5% lithium hydroxide.

The Company is also pursuing a direct lithium conversion (“DLC”) process to produce lithium hydroxide directly from lithium chloride solution. Such a process would thereby bypass lithium carbonate as an intermediate stage, simplify operations, and reduce energy consumption and operating costs.

With the demand for mobile and stationary energy storage growing, Century Lithium’s project at Angel Island is strategically positioned as the United States seeks a reliable domestic source of critical materials. Lithium carbonate is an essential component for LFP batteries, while lithium hydroxide is needed for high-energy-density NMC/NCA batteries. By demonstrating the potential to produce both, Angel Island stands out as a potential key contributor to American energy independence and a resilient battery supply chain.

Release – Century Lithium Progress on Permitting at Angel Island

Research News and Market Data on CYDVF

October 1, 2025 – Vancouver, Canada – Century Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LCE) (OTCQX: CYDVF) (Frankfurt: C1Z) (“Century Lithium” or “the Company”) is pleased to provide an update on the development and progress of Century Lithium’s wholly owned lithium project, Angel Island, located in Nevada, USA. The achievements include Angel Island’s inclusion in the FAST-41 Transparency Dashboard process, and the completion and submission of all required baseline environmental studies to the Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”).

“Angel Island’s addition to the FAST-41 Transparency program is a significant milestone for Century Lithium,” said Bill Willoughby, CEO of Century Lithium. “It signals strong federal interest in advancing secure domestic lithium supply and provides greater permitting certainty to our stakeholders and future project partners.”

In August 2025, Angel Island was formally designated as a FAST-41 Transparency project under the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act, a US federal initiative designed to improve the transparency, coordination, and timeliness of the federal environmental review and permitting process. This designation reflects Angel Island’s strategic importance in supporting the US critical minerals supply chain and strengthens federal agency coordination under the National Environmental Policy Act (“NEPA”) process.

Also in August, the Company closed a $4.7 million LIFE offering, which will fund the completion of an updated Feasibility Study and ongoing permitting efforts for Angel Island. The updated Feasibility Study will reflect the most current project data, including optimization of Angel Island’s lithium recovery process, and will provide the technical information supporting the Plan of Operations (“PoO”) leading into the NEPA process.

Century Lithium has completed all required environmental baseline studies to begin Angel Island’s NEPA permitting process. These studies span a range of biological, cultural, water, and land use resources and will be used by the BLM to support the Company’s upcoming PoO submission and the subsequent NEPA analyses. Completion of these studies was a critical prerequisite to entering the NEPA review phase and positions Angel Island for timely progression through the permitting process.

With Angel Island part of the FAST-41 Transparency program, funding for the updated Feasibility Study and permitting secured, and baseline studies completed, Century Lithium has further derisked Angel Island. The Company is now focusing its efforts on the next critical steps of permitting that will boost Angel Island’s visibility in the search for strategic investors, offtake partners, and government funding opportunities.

Release – Century Lithium Provides Technical Update on Angel Island

Research News and Market Data on CYDVF

May 6, 2025 – Vancouver, Canada – Century Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LCE) (OTCQX: CYDVF) (Frankfurt: C1Z) (“Century Lithium” or “the Company”) is pleased to provide an update on its 100%-owned lithium project, Angel Island (“Angel Island”) near Silver Peak, Nevada and the associated Lithium Extraction Facility (“Demonstration Plant”) in Amargosa Valley, Nevada.

“Century Lithium has continued to advance Angel Island through the Company’s Demonstration Plant,” said Bill Willoughby, Century Lithium President and CEO. “Our Demonstration Plant allows us to improve our technology through various avenues of testing, most recently with ARi, where recent results have exceeded our expectations.”

Advancements to the Demonstration Plant

Century Lithium has successfully completed testing at the Demonstration Plant in collaboration with Amalgamated Research, LLC (“ARi”) of Twin Falls, Idaho. This testing focused on new developments within the Direct Lithium Extraction (“DLE”) portion of Century Lithium’s process. These results exceeded expectations for lithium recovery and eluate grade produced from a primary step in the DLE process. The Company believes this could result in a substantial reduction in the estimated capital and operating costs at Angel Island.

Results from DLE Pilot Testing (November 2024–January 2025):

  • 328 milligrams per liter (“mg/L”) lithium feed concentration
  • 91.6% lithium recovery
  • 575 mg/L eluate grade with a low Na:Li ratio of 0.6:1

Additional Technical Progress at the Demonstration Plant

  • An increase of lithium in eluate to 12 to 14 grams per liter (“g/L”) lithium concentration using specialty membranes in the concentration steps following DLE
  • Continued operation of the lithium carbonate (“Li2CO3”) circuit, resulting in 99.87% purity in Li2COsamples
  • Third-party evaluation is underway on Li2CO3 samples for use in producing lithium iron phosphate (“LFP”) batteries. LFP batteries have a high energy density and long cycle life and are used in solar, energy storage systems and long-range EV applications
  • Testing is underway for thermal pretreatment of Angel Island clay with the potential to significantly reduce hydrochloric acid use in the leach stage of processing

ABOUT CENTURY LITHIUM CORP.

Century Lithium Corp. is an advanced stage lithium company, focused on developing its wholly owned Angel Island project in Esmeralda County, Nevada, which hosts one of the largest sedimentary lithium deposits in the United States. The Company has utilized its patent-pending process for chloride leaching combined with direct lithium extraction to make battery-grade lithium carbonate product samples from Angel Island’s lithium-bearing claystone on-site at its Demonstration Plant in Amargosa Valley, Nevada.

Angel Island is one of the few advanced lithium projects in development in the United States to provide an end-to-end process to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate for the growing electric vehicle and battery storage market. Angel Island is currently in the permitting stage for a three-phase feasibility-level production plan expected to yield an estimated life-of-mine average of 34,000 tonnes per year of carbonate over a 40-year mine-life.
