Commercial Preparations Continue. Nutriband continues to prepare for the AVERSA Fentanyl clinical trial, now expected to begin in 1H27. The NDA will be submitted through the 505(b)(2) pathway and requires a single Phase 1 trial demonstrating abuse deterrence with AVERSA Fentanyl technology.

Opioid Crisis Is Getting Worse. The Opioid Crisis was declared a National Public Health Emergency in October 2017. While overdose deaths have declined from their 2023 peak, the number of people living with opioid addiction has increased. CEO Garth Sheridan recently appeared in a video with Nick Shirley, a well-known YouTuber. The segment featured a walking tour in Los Angeles, speaking with people who live with fentanyl addiction. The segment can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyDQOBp4nn4&t=1357s.

Opportunity. The biggest takeaway from the quarter is the tremendous amount of opportunity available to NN. The pipeline in the key end markets-Data Center and Electric Grid, Defense and Electronics, and Medical-exceeds $270 million, with an overall pipeline of $750 million, and the prospect list is over $1 billion in additional opportunities being tracked that have yet to be quoted.

Growth. New-business awards totaled $106 million through September, and management expects more than 150 program launches during 2026. Data-center cooling, defense products, and robotic surgery components are expanding NN’s addressable applications. Management raised its full-year awards target to $110 million to $130 million.

Thoughts on the Quarter. We view the quarter as evidence of progress in cash generation and portfolio repositioning, with an organic earnings recovery still to be demonstrated. Cost actions, school brand performance, and International margin improvement support the operating base. However, acquisitions and currency continue to offset declining comparable sales, and tariff recoveries explain more than the entire quarterly increase in adjusted operating income. A sustained improvement in peripherals sell-through and margins would provide stronger support for a recovery thesis.

Key Quarter Metrics. Back-to-school was a bright spot. Management reported mid-single-digit seasonal growth in the United States and Canada and nearly 20% growth in Mexico. Workspace Solutions segment sales were off low single digits overall, while the Tech Peripherals business was down low double digits.
