Phase II drilling program. Defense Metals completed Phase II open pit diamond core and sonic infrastructure geotechnical drilling. The program consisted of six diamond drill holes totaling 1,182 meters within the Wicheeda rare earth element (REE) deposit pit shell, inclusive of four open pit geochemical drill holes totaling 920 meters, and two near-mine exploration holes totaling 262 meters. Nine sonic overburden drill holes, and 14 test pits designed to help characterize the soil subsurface and bedrock foundations of future waste rock storage, contact water pond, crusher, processing plant, and tailings storage facility locations were also completed. A final Phase 3 drilling program will entail 10 sonic overburden drill holes and three test pits.
Successful outcomes. South and west pit wall drill holes WI23-81 and WI23-82 intersected significant widths of visibly REE mineralized dolomite carbonatite. Hole WI23-82 drilled into the west pit wall of the Wicheeda Deposit tested a new ground radiometric anomaly. Assay results are pending.

(“Defense Metals” or the “Company“) (TSXV: DEFN) (OTCQB: DFMTF) (FSE:35D) is pleased to announce that a recently completed ground radiometric geophysical survey over the Wicheeda Rare Earth Element (REE) deposit, located near Prince George, Canada, has identified new anomalies that may represent previously unknown REE mineralized carbonatite located largely within the current mineral resource pit shells, as set forth in the 2021 preliminary economic assessment (PEA1).
Highlights:
Based on extensive core drilling and surface geologic mapping completed to advance Defense Metals’ ongoing preliminary feasibility study (PFS), the survey results closely map and further define the surface extent of outcropping REE mineralization.
Two previously unknown linear radiometric anomalies were identified, each approximately 40 metres in width and extending approximately 250 metres northwest from the main body of the Wicheeda REE deposit (Figure 1).
Ground truthing showed that the anomalies are overlain entirely by surficial cover which occurs at lower elevations, along the western portion of the Wicheeda deposit.

Several resource definition drill holes undercut the southern half of the eastern anomaly at >150 metre vertical depth below surface and preclude a subvertical or steeply east dipping source. Drill hole WI21-39 intersected relatively higher-grade carbonatite at depth returning 2.91% total rare earth oxide (TREO) over 45 metres from a depth of 69 metres2 downhole that is believed to represent the downdip projection of the eastern radiometric anomaly.
The majority of the eastern and the entirety of the western radiometric anomaly remain untested by core drilling. Defense Metals plans to test the western geophysical anomaly during fall 2023 as part of an expanded program of pit geotechnical drilling comprising a planned 915 metres in 4 holes (see Figure 1), with additional drilling subject to initial results.

Details of the Radiometric Surveys
The recently completed Wicheeda ground radiometric survey comprised a total of 20 line-km along 50 metre spaced, and locally 25 metre infill, east-west oriented survey lines completed over an area of approximately 800 x 900 metres. A NUVIA Dynamics PGIS-2 Gamma-ray spectrometer, equipped with a 0.347 Litre NaI detector and 512-channel resolution ADC was used and data was automatically synchronized with GPS, ensuring both time and location accuracy. The spectrometer’s self-stabilizing capabilities on natural radioactive elements such as K, U, and Th eliminated the need for frequent recalibration, assuring reliable and accurate gamma-ray measurements. Given that gamma rays are highly attenuated by overburden (approximately 90% attenuation at 20-30cm overburden depth) ground radiometric surveys are only likely to detect outcropping or very near surface sources.

About the Wicheeda REE Property
Defense Metals 100% owned, 6,759-hectare (~16,702-acre) Wicheeda Project is located approximately 80 km northeast of the city of Prince George, British Columbia; population 77,000. The Wicheeda REE Project is readily accessible by all-weather gravel roads and is near infrastructure, including hydropower transmission lines and gas pipelines. Toronto, August 31, 2023 – Eskay Mining Corp. (“Eskay” or the “Company”) (TSX-V:ESK) (OTCQX: ESKYF) (Frankfurt:KN7)(WKN:A0YDPM) is pleased to announce it has recently drilled significant intervals of stockwork and/or massive sulfide mineralization at four new targets as part of its 2023 diamond drill campaign at its 100% controlled Consolidated Eskay Gold Project in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. Precious metal-rich volcanogenic massive sulfide (“VMS”) deposits are the focus of Eskay’s exploration.
As of this news release, Eskay Mining has drilled approximately 4,300m of its planned 6,500m 2023 diamond drill campaign. In Company news releases dated May 18 and July 27, 2023, seven new targets were discussed as subjects of this year’s exploration campaign: Tarn Lake, Maroon Cliffs, Hexagon-Mercury, Storie Creek, Cumberland, Scarlet Knob-Bruce Glacier and TV South (Figure 1). Drilling at Tarn Lake, Scarlet Knob-Bruce Glacier, Hexagon-Mercury and Cumberland have yielded significant intercepts of stockwork and/or massive sulfide mineralization. Results are summarized below:
Cumberland: This target is situated approximately five km south of the TV deposit, subject of substantial drilling over the past three seasons. No appreciable work has been conducted in this area for at least twenty years. A current total of five drill holes have been completed by Eskay Mining this season, each intercepting seafloor-proximal stockwork and massive sulfide mineralization (Figures 3 and 4) over core lengths of approximately 25 to 85 meters. Spot XRF analyses indicates these intercepts are highly elevated in silver, copper, lead, zinc, arsenic, antimony and tellurium. Gold analysis by XRF is unreliable. This VMS deposit appears to strike NNW and dips moderately steeply to the east. Its stratigraphic position is believed to be in the Upper Hazelton Group at a level similar to the Eskay Creek deposit located approximately 20 km north. Like TV, Cumberland is situated on the eastern limb of the Eskay Anticline. The Company has one additional hole planned at Cumberland to follow up on this exciting new discovery.
Scarlet Knob-Bruce Glacier: This target is situated along the eastern side of the toe of Bruce Glacier in an area where spot rock chip sampling returned several Au- and Ag-bearing assays, including one with 56 gpt Au last season. To date, four drill holes have probed the westward dipping succession of volcanic rocks in search of the paleo-sea floor exhalative position of the VMS system. All four holes have encountered significant intervals of 20-50m of intense stockwork mineralization followed by mudstone thought to represent the overlapping paleo-sea floor strata (Figure 5). Like Cumberland, spot XRF analyses indicates this stockwork mineralization is highly elevated in silver, copper, lead, zinc, arsenic, and antimony. Mineralization is believed to be hosted in the lower part of the Hazelton Formation. Further drilling will be conducted in an area approximately 200 m north of holes drilled to date near a newly discovered outcrop of base-metal-rich VMS mineralization (Figure 6). This exciting newly discovered massive sulfide mineralization is thought to be at or very close to the paleo-sea floor position.
Tarn Lake: The Tarn-Lake target is situated on the west side of Bruce Glacier and saw limited drilling in 2022 that yielded encouraging precious metal results. Three holes completed to date have encountered sulfide stockwork mineralization ranging from 30-130m in length, much longer than recorded in drilling in 2022. Spot XRF analyses indicates this stockwork mineralization is highly elevated in silver, copper, lead, zinc, arsenic, and antimony. Mineralization is thought to be hosted by rocks in the lower part of the Hazelton Formation near a paleo-sea floor position much like Scarlet-Knob-Bruce Glacier to the east. One additional hole is being drilled at this exciting discovery this year.
Hexagon-Mercury: Targeting at Hexagon-Mercury, situated on the western flank of the Eskay Anticline approximately 9 km south of Eskay Creek mine, has been driven by geophysical anomalies interpreted by Riaz Mirza of Simcoe Geoscience. The first of two drill holes completed to date yielded an intercept of over 100m of appreciable stockwork sulfide mineralization hosted by volcanic rock thought to be part of the lower Hazelton Group.Spot XRF analyses indicate this stockwork is moderately to strongly anomalous in arsenic and other pathfinder elements. Eskay Mining is contemplating following up this discovery with further drilling this season.
The last target to be drill tested this season is Storie Creek, an as yet undrilled area situated just 3.5 km SSE of the Eskay Creek mine (Figure 2). Recent geologic interpretation by Eskay Mining’s team discussed in a Company news release dated July 27, 2023 indicates that uppermost Hazelton Group strata including the Contact Mudstone sub-crops underneath the NE-trending Storie Creek drainage and dips gently northwestward underneath a veneer of post-mineral Bowser Lake Formation sedimentary rocks. Extensive gossanous outcrops of Upper Hazelton Formation rocks were discovered along the eastern side of Storie Creek over a strike length of at least 4 km. Gossan forms from weathering of sulfides that may be associated with mineralization. Upon review of historic soil data dating back to the early 1990’s, Eskay’s geologic team has identified two areas where high silver-in-soil values occur, an indication that the Storie Creek gossanous outcrops are likely associated with mineralization. Two drill holes are planned at Storie Creek beginning in a few days.
One hole completed at TV South failed to encounter significant mineralization, however favorable volcanic host-rocks and VMS-related alteration were observed in drill core. Subsequent field discoveries of sulfide rich outcrops in areas nearby suggest this hole was drilled in an unfavorable orientation and that further exploration work is warranted at TV South. Two drill holes completed at the Maroon Cliffs target failed to encounter appreciable mineralization.
Drilling at the Consolidated Eskay Project is expected to finish by mid-September. Assays from the first holes of the 2023 program are expected back late September.

Toronto, Ontario, April 13, 2023 – Aurania Resources Ltd. (TSXV: ARU; OTCQB: AUIAF; Frankfurt: 20Q) (“Aurania” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce its proposed 2023 exploration activities.
As the concessions for its mineral properties in Ecuador are fully renewed and in good standing for another year after payment of all concession fees in March, the Company is able to develop the 2023 exploration programs.
Aurania attended the Prospector’s and Developer’s Association of Canada meeting (PDAC) in Toronto the first week of March, and we were delighted by the interest shown by several Major companies in our Ecuador asset. As a result of follow-up meetings there are now several companies in our data room. The primary interest has been in our porphyry copper and sediment-hosted copper-silver prospects.
To date, approximately 45% of the Awacha Porphyry Target has been covered by “Anaconda-style Mapping”. This is an intensive mapping technique that was originally developed by the famous Anaconda Copper Company, and has been taught to the Aurania geological staff by consultant Dr. Steve Garwin. This target is approximately 11 km x 5 km in size and was discovered by stream sediment sampling which showed elevated copper and molybdenum in the vicinity of two strong airborne magnetic anomalies. This size is significantly larger than any copper porphyry known and so our working hypothesis is that it is a cluster of porphyries, and similar to the Warintza cluster to the south of our concessions. Intrusive rock types from gabbro to diorite to monzonite and syenite have been mapped. Many of these intrusives show secondary biotite (potassic) alteration and fine quartz veins containing molybdenite or a centre line of chalcopyrite. Most of the Awacha area is covered by a unit of black shale which obscures the geology except where streams have cut down through the sediments and exposed the porphyry. The area is also covered by thick jungle. Nevertheless, Terraspec Mineral Spectrometer analysis of soils in the southern half of the anomaly indicates chlorite, kaolinite, white micas, dickite and pyrophyllite which are compatible with porphyry-style alteration. The last two minerals are typically found in the upper part of porphyry systems.
Copper soil anomalies are patchy, which is in keeping with soil results seen near outcropping sediment hosted copper elsewhere on the property. It would seem that copper is easily flushed away from surface soils by the significant rainfall in the area. Molybdenum however, which is essentially insoluble and immobile presents a much more coherent group of anomalies. Half of the Awacha target is still to be sampled for soils.
The reinterpretation of the surficial geology and structure in the areas of outcropping sediment-hosted copper-silver and zinc-lead-silver has generated a large number of compelling drill targets (see press release dated October 17, 2022). This copper-silver-zinc system across the concessions is 38 kilometres in lngth and is open to the north over an additional 15 kilometres. We believe this is perhaps one of the best areas of the property to find an economic ore deposit, considering the numerous high assays already yielded to date. A few areas are highlighted for follow-up, but we concede that a comprehensive programme here is more appropriate for a Major mining company partner.
The Tatasham epithermal gold/porphyry copper target is compelling due to the presence of what are believed to be pipe breccias. The area is, however, in steep terrain and the geology is mostly covered by post-mineral sedimentary cover and does not outcrop. Soil samples along the ridgeline above the previous porphyry drilling campaign yielded anomalous antimony, which is a pathfinder element in gold systems. An additional soil survey is required at Tatasham to extend the antimony anomaly that is still open to the north. Intensive mapping and prospecting are required. The discovery of the epithermal system at Tatasham was unexpected, in our pursuit of a copper porphyry target indicated by geophysics. That porphyry target is still valid, but it may lie at considerable depth, or it may lie laterally.
Over the next six months it is intended to finish the Anaconda mapping on Awacha, and bring it to drill readiness. At the same time, Tatasham will be re-examined in the belief that the antimony anomaly in soils may be due to a subcropping mineralized system. The Fruta del Norte gold deposit was discovered by drilling a geochemical anomaly of antimony, arsenic and mercury which had virtually no gold on surface. Aurania is currently investigating the feasibility of conducting an Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical survey at Tatasham and Awacha.
The proposed exploration programmes are dependent on raising further funding. The proceeds of the current private placement (as announced on March 13, 2023 and March 23, 2023) to date, have been applied to concession fees and general and administrative expenses.

TORONTO, Nov. 28, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Labrador Gold Corp. (TSX.V:LAB | OTCQX:NKOSF | FNR: 2N6) (“LabGold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce results from recent drilling targeting the prospective Appleton Fault Zone over a 12km strike length. The drilling is part of the Company’s ongoing 100,000 metre diamond drilling program at its 100% owned Kingsway Project.
Highlights of the drilling include an intersection of 8.60g/t Au over 4.41 metres from 326.89 metres that included 53.52g/t Au over 0.31 metres in Hole K-22-211 that contains visible gold, and 1.31g/t Au over 7 metres from 270 metres including 8.49g/t Au over 0.91 metres in Hole K-22-207 from Big Vein Southwest. Hole K-22-202, drilled at the northeast end of Big Vein, intersected 5.68g/t Au over 2.65 metres from 189.7 metres that included 18.27g/t Au over 0.78 metres.
Hole K-22-211 was collared 40 metres southwest of Hole K-22-174 that intersected 284.1 g/t Au over 0.58 metres and 15.05g/t Au over 1.11 metres (see News Release dated July 7, 2022) and extends the mineralized zone further to the Southwest.

True widths of the reported intersections have yet to be calculated. Assays are uncut. Samples of HQ split core are securely stored prior to shipping to Eastern Analytical Laboratory in Springdale, Newfoundland for assay. Eastern Analytical is an ISO/IEC17025 accredited laboratory. Samples are routinely analyzed for gold by standard 30g fire assay with atomic absorption finish as well as by ICP-OES for an additional 34 elements. Samples containing visible gold are assayed by metallic screen/fire assay, as are any samples with fire assay results greater than 1g/t Au. The company submits blanks and certified reference standards at a rate of approximately 5% of the total samples in each batch.

(“Defense Metals” or the “Company“; (TSXV: DEFN) (OTCQB: DFMTF) (FSE: 35D) is pleased to announce high-grade Rare Earth Element (“REE“) assay results from one additional core hole, totalling 383 metres (m), collared within the northern area of Defense Metals’ 100% owned Wicheeda REE Deposit.
Infill drill hole WI22-70 (-55o dip / 234o azimuth) was drilled southwest within the northern area of the deposit intersected a broad zone of mineralized dolomite carbonatite averaging 2.50% total rare earth oxide (“TREO”) over 113 metres (m)1 (Figure 1).
The Company is also pleased to report the completion of the Wicheeda REE Deposit resource delineation and pit geotechnical diamond drilling campaign for the 2022 exploration season. This year a total of 5,500 metres of diamond drilling was completed in 18 holes. The 2022 drilling included completion of five (5) pit slope geotechnical and hydrogeologic holes totalling 1,150 metres, which were designed in part to support a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) expected to commence Q4 2022.

The 100% owned 4,244-hectare Wicheeda REE Property, located approximately 80 km northeast of the city of Prince George, British Columbia, is readily accessible by all-weather gravel roads and is near infrastructure, including power transmission lines, the CN railway, and major highways.
The Wicheeda REE Project yielded a robust 2021 preliminary economic assessment technical report (PEA) that demonstrated an after-tax net present value (NPV@8%) of $517 million, and 18% IRR3. A unique advantage of the Wicheeda REE Project is the production of a saleable high-grade flotation-concentrate. The PEA contemplates a 1.8 Mtpa (million tonnes per year) mill throughput open pit mining operation with 1.75:1 (waste:mill feed) strip ratio over a 19 year mine (project) life producing and average of 25,423 tonnes REO annually. A Phase 1 initial pit strip ratio of 0.63:1 (waste:mill feed) would yield rapid access to higher grade surface mineralization in year 1 and payback of $440 million initial capital within 5 years.

The analytical work reported on herein was performed by ALS Canada Ltd. (ALS) at Langley (sample preparation) and Vancouver (ICP-MS fusion), B.C. ALS is an ISO-IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2015 accredited geoanalytical laboratory and is independent of the Defense Metals and the QP. Drill core samples were subject to crushing at a minimum of 70% passing 2 mm, followed by pulverizing of a 250-gram split to 85% passing 75 microns. A 0.1-gram sample pulp was then subject to multi-element ICP-MS analysis via lithium-borate fusion to determine individual REE content (ME-MS81h). Defense Metals follows industry standard procedures for the work carried out on the Wicheeda Project, with a quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program. Blank, duplicate, and standard samples were inserted into the sample sequence sent to the laboratory for analysis. Defense Metals detected no significant QA/QC issues during review of the data.

Exploration potential may be greater than previously thought. Relogging of drill core, along with the integration of geophysics and geochemistry from the Tiria-Shimpia target, revealed the presence of three structural grabens in the middle of Aurania’s concession block in Ecuador. Grabens are bordered by parallel faults. The identification of grabens is significant given that their faults are often conduits for hydrothermal fluids and have significant potential to host mineralization.
Long and wide. The north graben is 10 kilometers long and 3.5 kilometers wide, while the central graben is 26 kilometers long and 3 kilometers wide. The south graben is 18 kilometers long and 5 kilometers wide.

Flotation tests across a range of lithologies. The Wicheeda deposit is to be developed as an open pit mining operation. Once mined, rare earth oxides (REO) will be milled and processed in a flotation plant to produce a REO concentrate. The company is currently performing flotation tests on samples of differing lithologies. The Wicheeda deposit is characterized by three main rare earths bearing lithologies, including dolomite carbonatite which is the dominant lithology, xenolithic carbonatite, and syenite. Limestone is the major waste rock.

The Company is currently performing flotation tests on samples of different lithologies. The Wicheeda deposit is characterized by three main rare earths bearing lithologies, dolomite carbonatite (DC) which is the dominant lithology, xenolithic carbonatite (XE), and syenite (SYN). Limestone is the major waste rock lithology. The predominant rare earths minerals are, synchysite/parisite, bastnäsite, and monazite.
The results to date indicate that high grade mineral concentrate containing more than 40% total rare earths oxides (TREO) at a recovery rate exceeding 80% has been produced from all fully tested DC samples and a Master Composite (MC) containing all lithologies, from material with a head grade of >2% TREO.
The XE material, representing about 24% of the deposit and encountered late in the mine life, can deliver a 38% TREO concentrate at ~70% recovery rate at feed grades ~1.4%TREO.
SYN material, which represents about 3% of the deposit and is only encountered late in the mine life, has the lowest grade but shows ~14x upgrade ratio (from 1.1% to 14.6%TREO) at recovery rates ~79%.
Approximately 70 flotation tests have been performed. Several assay results are pending, and additional tests are continuing on variability samples of DC, XE, SYN, and mixed samples.

Table 1, shows selected flotation results on samples from different lithologies. The Composite samples contain a mixture of intervals from different drill cores taken from different areas of the deposit and different depths and represent the different lithologies. The master composite sample (MC in Table 1) includes the three lithologies (DC (73.4%), XE (22.5%), SYN (3.8%)). The variability samples in Table 1 are just two of the seventeen such samples being tested.
The DC lithology accounts for more than 70% of PEA mill feed (Figure 1), and in the first 8 years of the expected mine life, over 90% of the flotation plant feed will be DC material, with higher rare earths grade, with the later years being mostly DC and XE material at relatively lower grades.

Methods
Samples were obtained from drill cores and separated into different lithologies. They were crushed and ground to 80% passing ~80µm and subjected to flotation tests. Several flotation parameters were investigated, including the collector types and dosage, depressant types and dosage, the addition of activator, pulp temperature, pulp density, pulp pH, and flotation feed size. All tests were performed at SGS Minerals Lakefield, Ontario.
Head grade, and concentrate products for cerium, lanthanum, neodymium and praseodymium oxides were determined via lithium-borate fusion of a 0.5-gram sample analyzed via wavelength dispersion X-ray fluorescence (WD-XRF).
The SGS analysis included a quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) program including the insertion of rare earth element standard and blank samples. Defense Metals detected no significant QA/QC issues during review of the data. Defense Metals is not aware of any sampling, recovery or other factors that could materially affect the accuracy or reliability of the data referred to herein. SGS Minerals Lakefield is an ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO9001:2015 accredited laboratory. SGS is independent of Defense Metals Corp.

The 100% owned 4,244-hectare Wicheeda Rare Earths Property, located approximately 80 km northeast of the city of Prince George, British Columbia, is readily accessible by all-weather gravel roads and is near infrastructure, including power transmission lines, the CN railway, and major highways.

Phase III drill program at Eagle. Maple Gold secured a third drill rig to begin a 5,000-meter Phase III drill program at its 100%-controlled Eagle Mine Property to follow up on the first two phases and test additional targets. The rig is expected to be on site by mid-October. Vancouver, British Columbia–(Newsfile Corp. – October 7, 2022) – Maple Gold Mines Ltd. (TSXV: MGM) (OTCQB: MGMLF) (FSE: M3G) (“Maple Gold” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce that a third drill rig has been secured to commence a 5,000 metre (“m”) Phase III drill program at its 100%-controlled Eagle Mine Property (“Eagle”). The third rig is expected to arrive at site by mid-October, keeping the Company on track to complete approximately 30,000 m across its district-scale 400 km2 property package in Québec, Canada by year-end. Further to the Company’s news release on August 3, 2022, two (2) rigs are now turning on deep drill holes beneath and adjacent to the historical underground mine workings in the Telbel mine area (“Telbel”) at the Joutel Project (“Joutel”), which is held by a 50/50 joint venture (“JV”) between Maple Gold and Agnico Eagle Mines Limited. In addition, the Company expects to secure a fourth drill rig in November to commence deep drilling at the JV’s Douay Project (“Douay”).
The Company is also pleased to announce that it has resolved the electrical issues at site that affected its core saws, effectively removing its core cutting backlog and enabling several large batches of samples from previously completed drilling to be sent to the assay labs.

Deep Drilling Progress
Deep drilling at Telbel is progressing steadily with two (2) drill rigs actively testing the down-plunge continuity of gold mineralization in this area. Drill hole TB-22-001 (drilled from south to north) is approaching 1,500 m downhole and has encountered a broad near-surface zone of felsic-pyroclastic-hosted pyrite mineralization enroute to a planned total downhole depth of 2,000 m (see Figure 1 for all drill hole locations). Initial samples from TB-22-001 have already been shipped to the assay lab. Drill hole TB-22-002 (drilled from north to south) is collared 2.4 km to the east of TB-22-001 and is currently nearing 900 m downhole.
In addition, the Company anticipates commencing a ~10,000 m deep drilling program at Douay with a fourth drill rig in November. The JV has approved a combined ~16,000 m of deep drilling at Douay and Telbel under the previously announced C$4.8M increase to its Year Two exploration budget (see news from May 18, 2022).
New Exploration Drillhole Completed at Douay
The Company has also recently completed a new 534 m exploration drill hole at Douay (DO-22-330) collared approximately four (4) km south of the 531 Zone along the regional Casa Berardi South Fault, locally known as the Joutel Deformation Zone (“JDZ”) (see Figure 1). The JDZ has seen very limited drilling to-date in this area, with only a single historical drill hole over a nine (9) km segment of this structural corridor. The Company’s recently completed airborne magnetic and electromagnetic (“Mag-EM”) survey identified several conductive targets along trend to the southwest on the Joutel property (see news from July 19, 2022) providing further support for the JDZ as a favourable structural corridor for hosting gold mineralization. Initial drill core observations from DO-22-330 highlight the potential for Casa-Berardi style gold mineralization associated with brecciated and pyritic quartz veins in graphitic fault zones.
