Third Quarter Highlights

  • Third quarter 2024 net revenues of $118.3 million, a $13.7 million decrease compared to $132.0 million in the prior year period.
  • Third quarter 2024 Submissions were 166,195, a 2.9% increase compared to 161,550 Submissions in the prior year period, with strong contributions from GoHealth’s internal captive agents, partially offset by a decline in Submissions from the external GoPartner Solutions (“GPS”) agents.
  • Third quarter 2024 net income of $15.4 million, an improvement of $71.6 million compared to a net loss of $56.2 million in the prior year period.
  • Third quarter 2024 Adjusted EBITDA(1) of negative $12.1 million, a decrease of $0.6 million compared to negative $11.5 million in the prior year period.
  • Third quarter 2024 trailing twelve months (“TTM”) positive cash flow from operations of $35.1 million, an increase of $38.3 million compared to TTM negative cash flow from operations of $3.2 million in the prior year period.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– SelectQuote, Inc. (NYSE: SLQT) today announced that SelectRx, the company’s full-service medication management pharmacy that serves all 50 states, will open a third fulfillment facility in Olathe, Kansas, to serve its rapidly expanding customer base, alongside its existing facilities in Monaca, Pennsylvania, and Indianapolis, Indiana.

SelectQuote launched the SelectRx business in 2021 as part of its Healthcare Services Division after acquiring two smaller pharmacy operations. In just over three years, SelectRx has grown its membership from under 5,000 to over 75,000 members who receive regular prescription shipments in adherence-friendly packaging. The new 54,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility at 404 W. Frontier Lane in Olathe, Kansas, is expected to open during the first half of calendar 2025 and should significantly expand the pharmacy’s capacity.

SelectQuote plans to add over 50 new positions at the location and is seeking experienced pharmacists, pharmacy fulfillment technicians (to assist in filling, processing, and shipping prescriptions), and various leadership and support roles such as shipping and inventory management, facilities management and information technology.

  • The Company generated $109.1 million of cash flow from operations in 2023, a substantial 79.2% improvement compared to $60.9 million in the prior year period.
  • The percentage of revenue earned from non-agency sales in the fourth quarter was 60% of Medicare revenue, compared to 26% in 2022. This shift to non-agency operating model continues to drive cash generation.
  • Fourth quarter 2023 net revenues were $276.7 million, compared to $69.4 million in the prior year period. Full year 2023 net revenues were $734.7 million, compared to $631.7 million in 2022.
  • Fourth quarter 2023 net loss was $2.3 million and Adjusted EBITDA1 was $57.0 million, improvements of 98.5% and 160.1%, respectively, compared to the prior year period. Cigna and Humana Merger Unravels Amid Price Disputes, Cigna to Pursue Share Buyback

Cigna has reportedly withdrawn from a significant merger with Humana, citing failed negotiations on pricing as the primary reason, according to insider sources. The deal, if successful, would have propelled the combined entity’s value beyond $140 billion, positioning it as a major player in the insurance sector.
