DALLAS, Feb. 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty.) Brands Inc., parent company of Twin Peaks Restaurant and 16 other restaurant concepts, is pleased to announce another strong year for Twin Peaks. The leading sports lodge concept generated strong growth throughout 2022 in addition to landing top spots on several prestigious awards lists.

In total, the banner year saw Twin Peaks open nine new lodges, while also signing four new area development agreements (ADAs) to add 26 future lodges in the United States and one ADA in Mexico for an additional 32 lodges. These agreements are expected to allow the brand to surpass the monumental 100-restaurant milestone by spring of 2023.

Twin Peaks began 2022 with the opening of its third lodge in Mexico City and now has four locations south of the border. The brand enters 2023 with 95 locations across the United States and Mexico with an anticipated 18-20 additional restaurants opening in 2023 in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Greenwood, Indiana; Deer Valley, Arizona; Columbus, Ohio; Springfield, Missouri; as well as Daytona Beach and Jacksonville, Florida to begin the year.

The brand signed several domestic ADAs to expand its footprint, including eight locations across North Carolina with Music City Consulting, four locations in the Ohio River Valley with JEB Food Group and three restaurants in the Pittsburgh area with the Falcons Group. Twin Peaks also secured an agreement with Dos Montes Corp. to add seven locations in Chicago and its largest international ADA to date with its subsidiary, Operadora 2 Montes, for 32 lodges in Mexico.

Twin Peaks also scored a number of industry honors. It placed seventh in Nation’s Restaurant News’ “Top 10 Biggest Sports Bars” and ranked 107th among the publication’s “Top 500 Restaurant Chains.” Twin Peaks also earned additional recognition by being named to Entrepreneur’s “Top 500” list, Black Box’s “Top 5 Restaurant Brands,” and Restaurant Business’ “Top 500” list for 2022.

In addition to these accolades, Twin Peaks continues to level up the sports bar’s menu. Note Sale. In a January 31st 8-K filing, FAT Brands reported that on January 25, 2023, the Company completed the sale of an aggregate principal amount of $40 million of Series 2022-1 6.00% Fixed Rate Senior Secured Notes, Class A-2 issued by its special purpose, wholly-owned subsidiary, FAT Brands GFG Royalty I, LLC. The Class A-2 Notes were offered and sold to qualified institutional buyers.

Terms. Scheduled payments of principal and interest on the Notes are required to be made on a quarterly basis, in each case from amounts that are available for payment thereon under the Base Indenture. ICR Conference. FAT Brands CEO Andrew Wiederhorn and Executive Chairman James Neuhauser held a fireside chat at the ICR Conference in Orlando Monday. Three key points discussed were management’s goal to get to the 15th largest restaurant company by unit count from its current 25th largest ranking, lowering leverage over time, and narrowing the valuation gap. 

New Builds Drive Unit Count Growth. FAT Brands’ pipeline remains strong, in excess of 1,000 units. Management expects some 175 locations to open in 2023. Proposed Equity Offering. Monday morning, FAT Brands announced an ATM sales agreement to raise a maximum $21.4 million through the sale of Class A common stock and/or the 8.25% Series B Cumulative Preferred. At Friday’s close, a full raise in common would add just under three million shares to the public float.

A Switch. The proposed ATM is a switch from the Class A equity offering floated by the Company just 10 days ago. That offering was tabled after the shares sold off some 17% over the weekend. Los Angeles, CA, Nov. 07, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty) Brands Inc. (Nasdaq: FAT) today announced that it has withdrawn its previously announced proposed registered public offering of shares of its Class A Common Stock as a result of market conditions.

Andy Wiederhorn, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “This transaction was opportunistic in nature. While we appreciate the significant interest in the proposed offering, we have concluded that the current terms and conditions available in the market were not sufficiently attractive for us to move forward with a transaction at this time. We will continue to monitor market conditions and evaluate whether to pursue another offering in the future.”

A Large Deal. Yesterday, FAT Brands announced a new development deal that will open 80 new franchised locations in Texas. In a partnership with Brame Holdings LLC, 40 Round Table Pizza restaurants and 40 co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express locations will open over the next 10 years, with the first opening in 2023.

Who is Brame Holdings LLC? Brame Holdings is an experienced fine dining operator located in San Antonio, Texas. The firm’s reason for the deal is to expand on the existing portfolio with the addition of fast casual/quick-service concepts. (NASDAQ: FAT), a leading global franchising company and parent company of iconic brands including Round Table Pizza, Fatburger, Marble Slab Creamery, Johnny Rockets, Twin Peaks, Fazoli’s and 11 other restaurant concepts, announced today that its Board of Directors has declared the Company’s fiscal 2022 fourth quarter cash dividend of $0.14 per share on each outstanding share of Class A common stock and Class B common stock. The dividend is payable on December 1, 2022 to holders of record of Class A common stock and Class B common stock as of the close of business on November 15, 2022.

The declaration and payment of future dividends, as well as the amounts thereof, are subject to the discretion of the Company’s Board of Directors. Leading Global Restaurant Franchising Company Set to End Year with 12 5 New Locations

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty.) Brands Inc., a leading global franchising company that owns restaurant brands including Johnny Rockets, Fatburger, Round Table Pizza, Twin Peaks and 13 other concepts, announces it has opened a record-breaking 100 new franchised locations so far this year, and is poised for further growth, with approximately 25 additional stores slated to open by year end. This is the first year since the company’s inception in 2017 that it has surpassed 100 openings in a year.

Following a year of strategic acquisitions in 2021, the company has committed to expanding organically. Notable openings, which spanned 17 states and 14 countries, included new locations in Mexico of the company’s co-branded burger and wing concept, Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express, and Twin Peaks, the ultimate sports lodge. The Mexico openings marked the first of 82 Twin Peaks and Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express units set to open in the country in the coming years. Fatburger & Buffalo’s Express also arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo and was one of the highest volume international openings to date for the co-branded pair.
